Planning Our Future
The FUUSE Strategic Planning Group (SPG) has been working with the Board to come up with a visioning plan in 2008. The idea, presented to the group by Jan Williams, focuses on the concept of having the whole congregation participate in planning the future for our church to complete the final piece to our mission.
Work on the strategic planning effort is roughly divided into three phases — The first two rely heavily upon your input!
Information Gathering — [completed]
In Phase 1, gathering information: Surveys have been collected and are in the process of being tabulated.
Visioning — [completed]
Phase 2, the visioning part, will consisted of a well-attended workshop on February 15th & 16th. Jan Williams, a FUUSE friend and strategic/organizational planning consultant by profession, facilitated this "Envisioning our Future" event.
Planning — [completed]
Phase 3, the planning part will culminate with a draft plan for our future to be produced by the SPG and consisting of a synthesis of what we learn in the first two phases.
As you can see, our “Plan for the Plan” relies heavily on active participation by the FUUSE Congregation — as it must! You may download the final report from the sidebar at the right.
