Thank you members of FUUSE who supportted our interfaith hunger walk on October 23rd. We had 31 walkers and raised $3,704 for this worthy cause! Our third Sunday Give-It-Away Offertory for the month of October raised $733 of this amount. Of special note, our Senior High RE class raised $755, most of it online.
Because of the special results above, FUUSE was awarded the 1st Annual Golden Sneaker Award which is given to the participating organization that achieves the highest donations.
The 2011 Exeter Area Interfaith CROP Hunger Walk raised $16,000 in total, of which $4,000 will stay locally in support of six area food pantries. The remainder will be used for Church World Service missions worldwide.
