“The Wright Brothers flew right through the smoke screen of impossibility.”

-- Charles Kettering

Vision: To inspire and encourage participation by the congregation in various local, national, and global issues promoting peace, human rights, and sustainability.

Mission: We will achieve this through education and action on issues focused on creating a more tolerant, environmentally healthy, diverse, and just community/society.

Co-chairs:

Ginny Berrien, 580-1240

Marian Stanton 580-2994

For a complete list of the working members, please contact one of the co-chairs.

The committee meets the first Saturday of the month in the Parsonage library from 8:30 to 10:00 am.  All church members are welcome to attend the meetings or to offer suggestions for a focus topic.

Currently there are fourteen working members. The committee functions using a focus group structure whereby members choose a specific area of interest and then bring forth ways to educate or promote action from our church members.
