Caring Committee

As many of you know, the Caring Committee provides help for FUUSE families in temporary crisis — a meal, a card, a visit, etc. And now, we need to update our files! If you are new and would not mind being called upon once or twice a year to make a meal, provide cookies for a memorial service, or give a ride, let us know!! It is a great way to make connections. If you are already on our list and wish to be removed, or if you wish we would call you more often, please let us know that as well. Remember, don’t worry about “being too busy.” If we call you to help and it is not a good week for you, just say so!! We’ll ask again. Contact Amy Robinson

Flowers for Friends

The Caring Committee would like to make some matches of a different sort. We have, in our FUUSE community, some seniors who aren't able to get out much and could enjoy more company — and we know there are caring people who would benefit from brightening their days.

If you could take some flowers and visit a FUUSE senior four times a year, why not try "Flowers For Friends"? You could go as a family, with a friend or on your own. If you are willing to share a little time and love, we are looking for a commitment of four visits per year (more if you wish). This is a wonderful opportunity to make those connections that are the essence of our lives together.
