Our Ministries
The people at FUUSE minister to the world, the community, and each other in many ways.
Minister’s Musings — Occasional reflections by Reverend Kendra Ford.
Social Justice — helping FUUSE understand its role as a religious community in fostering ethical and just relationships within the congregation and the larger world.
Religious Education — a variety of programs for adults, children, and youth.
Outreach — through the Social Justice committee, FUUSE members connecting, supporting, enriching, and giving to others beyond the walls of this church through our service, spirit and contributions.
Music — under the leadership of Music Director Taylor O’Donnell, and Music Committee co-chairs Nancy Fiske and Janis Tierney, FUUSE has a rich music program with an adult choir and many musical members who share their talents during services as well as in the community.
Green Sanctuary — also through the Social Justice Committee; a Green Sanctuary is defined as “a congregation that lives out its commitment to the earth by creating a sustainable lifestyle for its members as individuals and as a faith community.”
Give-It-Away Sundays — the third Sunday of each month is usually designated as Give-It-Away Sunday when the general offering will be distributed to a charitable cause in our community.
Caring — provides tangible help and support to members of FUUSE during times of difficulty or transition.
